Data Import

We build marketing databases by taking data from hundreds of different sources, putting it all into one format, cleaning it and making it available to our clients through an online interface. We are looking for a database developer to work with our existing SQL scripts and stored procedures and possibly write some new ones. Qualifications - Ability to communicate clearly via email and occasional phone calls - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 - Experience loading database tables from various sources (text, csv, MS Access) - T-SQL development skills including scripts, stored procedures, indexing strategies, key constraints - Ability to work independently and quickly learn/assess new software platforms Helpful/Desired - Experience with SSIS - Experience with data warehouse architectures - Familiarity with MatchUp or other software tools used to identify and remove duplicate records and/or ability to learn these programs Job Description - Overview File Setups: - import data from various sources into SQL - follow instructions to run our in-house hygiene programs on that data - migrate data between servers Additional work also available: Counts - run counts using stored SQL scripts or writing new ones (which then need to be stored) Orders - export data using stored SQL scripts or writing new ones (which then need to be stored)
