A PhD holder once approached me to help edit a book she had written. It was like a gamble because she had never seen my work before then. I took her book and got to work. Based on the writing quality of the project description, you write English rather well for a non-native speaker. Therefore, I think the work will mostly focus on making a masterpiece of your story. And your story interests me. I have a similar experience of getting away for a long think about life -- I spent a month in Montana on a ranch. The proposed milestones and calendar timeline are negotiable. The Freelancer.com system requires a minimum of $5 with each milestone which is not my exact intention. The total bid amount of $1227 is fixed at milestone 1. Thereafter, I am with you through to the journey's end. A bonus is at your discretion. A different way to approach the project is for you to choose an excerpt for me to read and edit. A benefit of starting with an excerpt is that you would know sooner if the feedback resonated with you. A drawback of reading only an excerpt is that the feedback might be out of context.
