Design a Logo

I am looking to have a design I made cleaned up / enhanced. I am having custom set of cornhole boards made for my lake house and would like the design for that. In the past I made a design that I took from a JPED outline of the lake, cleaned it up in microsoft paint and added some text and resaved as a JPEG. As you can see in the attached, said design is not very clean, and the cornhole company would like a logo to be in EPS, Vector, AI, or scale-able PDF. I am not tied to the font style in there now, but would like to have that lake picture and the text above or below it. Also, that star on the left middle outside the lake is where our house is. I would like to keep that star or some type of marker there for that. It currently has a small "M" in the middle of the star, as our last name is Monk. Using some type of marker or M symbol there to signify our location, would be great. I was also trying to incorporate our name somehow. Nothing elaborate or big. Maybe just "Monk" in the botom corner with some type of font. So overall, I don't need a complex design, just a clean version of what is there and maybe updated font/markers if you think of something better fitting. The main reason I want it to be cleaned up is because I don't want it to go on a white background on the cornhole boards and I think the company wouldn't be able to drop its current form on another color without having a bunch of random white on the edges of all the lines/ Check out my old design, attached.
