A bespoke, browser based client record database allowing us to capture client details and service history. Ability to search and alter records from laptop, tablet and phone. Must be password protected for data protection purposes.\r\n\r\nWe need to be able to log clients contact details as well as when they visited us and what they had, preferably in a MySQL database. \r\nWe then need to have non-tech savvy users both enter new clients and new services for existing clients. They also need to be able to search for clients so they can see what services they previously had. As mentioned, this information is for staff only and therefore must be password protected.\r\n\r\nWe already own a domain and webspace with MySQL and PHP capability to build the intranet.

I am interested in working on this project. I am an Australian but I live in Brazil -- hence the flag next to my name. However, I do NOT work with MySql as it is ancient, no good for text searching, etc. If your ISP can install PostgreSql (also free) and hopefully has servers running Linux, Apache, etc., then you are cooking with gas. I already have back office funcionality coded so there is no need to re-invent the wheel. I hope you have some basic screen layouts in mind for your application so that I can build mock-ups. I am available on skype and we can have face to face meetings at a time convenient to yourself. After agreeing the basic screen layouts the real coding work can start. My estimate of 30 days is just a "guess" at this point in time as it is not possible to carry out a function point analysis based upon your brief description. I have all the skills needed to carry out this project but I must emphasise that the RDBMS needs to be PostgreSql (or Oracle). Cheers, Robert
