Build a Website

Looking for a website that will act as a sort of online shopping mall. We'll call it Store.Com. The [login to view URL] site, viewed by the end user, will show many, many similar products. These products are offered by hundreds of individual vendors who list their products on Store.Com. If the end user wishes to buy a product, he does not buy it from [login to view URL], instead he clicks a "buy this" button, and the end user is taken to a page that gives details (a profile) about the vendor who has that specific product, and he can complete the transaction by buying the product directly from the vendor. Each vendor will have to specify how to complete the transaction, which could be by phone call, email, or (if the vendor has an ecommerce site) buying it online from the vendor. Each vendor must have complete control over his own product listings. Each vendor must be able to upload an inventory file (xls, csv, etc. common format) that will either replace/delete/update/add inventory. Each vendor needs to be able to update his or her own profile page. [login to view URL] does not need a shopping cart for any reason. Eventually [login to view URL] will charge vendors for placing inventory on the site, so [login to view URL] will need to be able to export vendor profile information for billing purposes. Think of a visit to [login to view URL] as a visit to the Amazon,Com website, but without [login to view URL] being involved in the inventory selection or in the taking of payment for the products. [login to view URL] will not recommend one vendor over another, so a small quantity vendor has the same potential to be seen as a large quantity vendor. [login to view URL] will; not arbitrate disputes between end users and vendors. Final aspect is a rating system, some sort of feedback system, so end users can rank/rate the vendors. Since the transaction isn't completed by [login to view URL], the end users need to be registered users of the [login to view URL] site in order to leave feedback. I anticipate 300 vendors (eventually), and probably 30,000 product listings. Each product listing will need to contain, at a minimum, fields such as manufacturer, item number (or SKU), item name, description (details specific to this specific item), price, free shipping or not, shipping method the vendor uses (UPS, or USPS or FedEx), year of manufacture, date uploaded, product is new or used or refurbished, and several additional options. This list is not final, it will change to some degree, and needs to be flexible over time. Some of these products are new, some are used. The user interface needs to be bright, easy to read, and as clean as possible.
