The Portal is the UGC (User Generated content) platform. Much like a social media platform. 1. The users should be able to ‘post’ new topic/news/appeal, where other users should be able to comment/like/dislike. The thread should also have capability of adding/embedding multimedia. 2. The portal should be able to assign rights/roles to the users: Such as staff, admin, moderator, end-user, guest(demo), public-view etc. 3. The portal should be dynamic in nature and should be able to display the information only related/relevant to logged-in user. eg. Based on interest and region/local news and topics should be displayed to user. 4. The portal should strong enough to handle weekly 1 million visits. 5. The users should be able to create their own profile page and should be able to upload their bio-data. 6. The ‘job listing portal’ is required inside ‘career’ section of the website. 7. The SMS alert/notification system should be integrated for automatic workflow. Choice of Platform: Linux OS for web-server is preferred. Mobile friendly/responsive and smart good use of javascript is required. You can use any framework and existing CMS suite (such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal) to customize it, or you can build it from scratch using PHP or ROR.
