Build a Website

Simple website with 3 (or 4) main pages: 1. Landing page a. Will only have a video that begins playing immediately – there should be no need to scroll down b. ‘NEXT’ button 2. Affirmations page a. This page will start with a video and underneath the video it will ask for the customer to fill in some information: i. Their first name ii. Their email address iii. Their child’s first name iv. Their child’s gender v. Their child’s date of birth b. Below this information there will be a counter that counts (backwards) the number of affirmations remaining. I need to be able to set this number from an admin panel. We can start it at 20. c. Then there will be a dropdown menu with 5 categories. Each of these categories will have 20 affirmations (I will need to control this number also) with a radio button or some way for them to select specific affirmations: i. Self-Esteem / Self-Confidence ii. Faith / Spiritual iii. Learning / Academic iv. Family / Social v. Health / Physical d. The customer will be able to select a total of 20 (again, customizable from an admin panel) affirmations from all of the affirmations (100 in this example, 20 per category with 5 categories). After selecting, they will be able to edit the affirmation by adding or deleting words or writing their own affirmation. This is critical and it may make sense to add another page (page 3) with just their 20 selected affirmations where they will be able to edit them. e. ‘NEXT’ button 3. Summary page a. This will have a summary of the information they entered from page 2 (or page 3) including i. Their first name ii. Their email address iii. Their child’s first name iv. Their child’s gender v. Their child’s date of birth vi. Each affirmation chosen (so, all 20 of their selected and edited affirmations) 1. They will be able to edit all information on this page also b. ‘Click to order’ button that will take them to the payment page 4. Other pages a. About Us b. Contact Us c. Privacy Policy d. FAQ e. Etc… 5. Payment page a. When the customer places their order, the information from the summary page will automatically be emailed to: i. The customer ii. The business iii. Voiceover specialist (a third party) 1. Does not receive the customer’s name or email b. Right now I am set up with 3dCart as my shopping cart and I do not have a merchant account yet. I will need to have everything connected and working – shopping cart, merchant account, autoresponder, etc… 6. Auto responder a. The name and email captured on page 2 will automatically be sent to an autoresponder i. If the customer does not place an order then the information will be sent to autoresponder #1 ii. If the customer does order then the information will be sent to autoresponder #2 7. Other a. Error messages that will ask them to fill in information if they click the ‘NEXT’ button without completing the required information b. All information from all pages should be editable by me from an admin page: • Uploading videos o Page 1 will just be a video o Pages 2 (and 3 if we add it), and page 4 will have a video at the top of the page. I will have the videos made. • Updating all text from page 2 o ‘Name,’ ‘email address,’ ‘child’s name,’ etc… o Selecting the number of words for the counter o The drop down menu titles for the affirmations o All affirmations o The number of affirmations for each category should also be editable The website I will be replacing is [login to view URL] The second page (Sales page) will not be on the new website. The third page will give you a good understanding of how this page will work with the affirmations. There won’t be any pictures on the new website. I want it to look sharp and focused and easy to read. I’m looking for a professional look with a simple design. I have a logo that I would like to have placed on all of the pages. I would like to have the website set up in WordPress unless there is a very compelling reason not to. Thank you, Jim
