I went through your requirements & checked the reference logos as well, and would like to share a few ideas that could be creative yet professional : TYPOGRAPHIC : We can use initials of the name of your clinic i.e "E" and "D" to create a silhouette of Tooth and thus it will be much creative and appeal masses. ABSTRACT : We can create the abstract version of Tooth icons and in between can show a light colored image of heart showing up. This conveys that "we care for your dental related problems" MEDICAL BASED : We can create a logo with Dental image and add a "Plus" sign showing off the Medical seriousness.
