Design some Fashion

I am a professional fashion designer from NIFT, Mumbai (one of Asia's leading fashion college) and have a work experience of more than 2 years with retail brands, and fashion designers where I have designed collections and executed the designs. Macy's, INC, GAP, Aeropostale, Park Avenue, Reliance Trends are to name a few. I have also Worked for Lakme Fashion Week collection of Kunal Rawal and Manish Malhotra. I have been designing menswear collections and accessories for various brands, startups and clients from around the world including Dubai, Texas, London, Indonesia, etc and have styled various bollywood stars- Shahid Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor. I handle the conceptualization boards, detailed tech pack development, print design, embroidery design, silhouette ideas, illustration and garment construction for the collections. I am one of the top 10 national level graphic designers selected by World Skills Organizations, 2013. Hence, I am fast and well versed with all graphic designing software.

I have worked with Abercrombie and Fitch for the past 6 years on the high demand women's fashion team. My responsibilities in this position was to research trend, develop concepts and sketch and present a collection for the CEO. I would pass the styles off to my technical team following mock-ups and detailed sketches using trim sheets, tech packs and linesheets. I have experience in everything from outerwear to basic knit tops and have extensive experience with fabrics from knits to wovens and their unique construction. I also worked exclusively on Abercrombie and Fitch embroidery, beading and complex artworks for women's tops and have great experience in detailed instructions and production aids. Most important for the success of this project is my knowledge working with a very high quality and world recognized brand- I understand the complexities of production and product development along with what makes a successful apparel design from a cost and aesthetic perspective.
