Executive Summary
designing an on-line resource which connects the our suppliers and distributors nationwide. In addition to infinite source of information under one roof, they have the tools to grow their business such as Visualizer, Estimator, Purchase Order. This app will be accessed by registered dealers for creating estimates and purchase orders. The app will become the Marketing Hub for the security industry.
This project is divided into three initial phases as described below.
Phase 1

Name: Initial User Interface Design and Database Design
Description: Create a responsive User Interface and populate its pages and data from the database
i) Create the User Interface design using the template provided
ii) Create the Database design to store the following information
(a) Manufacturer/Vendor – All the available Manufacturers/Vendors
(i) Information - Name, Address, Phone, Fax, Contact Person, Website, Logo
(ii) Products – Name, Code, Category, Type, Description, Specification, Accessories, Downloads, Images, Prices, Discounts, Notes
(b) Company – All the companies and their users that will register to use the application
(i) Information – Company Name, Address, Phone, Fax, Website, Contact Person, Logo, Category/Type (Distributor, Direct Sales, Installers, Dealers)
(ii) Sales Reps/Users – Name, Login, Password, User Type (Admin, Sales Rep)
(c) Orders – Companies can create an Estimate or a Purchase Order for their customers
(i) Customers – Name, Billing Address, Shipping Address, Project Address, Phone, Fax, Email
(ii) Order Detail – Order Number, Date, Expiration Date, Description, Notes, Order Type (Estimate, PO), Products/Items, QTY, Price
(d) Site Manager – Manage websites page access
(i) Page Access – Grant/Deny access to admin sections of the site
(ii) Ad Manager – Name, Description, Image, Link, Start Date, End Date, Code Name, Placement, Frequency, Related Products, Exclusive(related to a man product – look at popup ads based on a product search
iii) Site Admin – Create a User interface for the System Admin to
(a) Add/Update Manufacturers/Vendors

SECURITY NOTE:
i) A "System Admin" can view and update any information in the database
ii) An "Admin" can update only the information that belongs to its entity. For example, a Manufacturer Admin can only update the information on its own manufacture products and users
iii) A "User" can only update its own user information

i) Dashboard – Future Orders, Current Orders, Past Orders, Orders within a Date Range, Orders Per Sales Reps, New Registered Users/Dealers/Installers/Distributors

iii) Receive Price Update notification based on the user access level to the Manufacturer-Products-Price

Description: Allow users the ability to create and upload private libraries/galleries to

ii) Add, Edit and manipulate an image to create a visual representation of the products ordered for the project
iii) Automatically create an Estimate or a Purchase Order based on the selected Manufacturer product items selected
