This is a very simple quick project - which I need done today. I have a .java file and there is a part where I need to plug in a script which can send a string to a PHP script. I don't need the PHP script written, I just need someone to plug in the code to send data to a URL. I have attached the script in question. I have tried downloading other people's examples and plugging it in but I get errors when I compile, so there's clearly something I don't understand about this. The part in the code where the PHP POST would go can be found by searching for this text: this is where i would plug it in! Also, I'm not even certain what I'm looking for is a PHP POST. I just need java to send a string to a php script and that script will sort the data. I believe that's a POST. I would imagine that an experienced java developer could do this in just a few minutes. If you need the full source code please message me and I can upload it. This is one of many .java files. I just assume you would only need it. The URL it would point to is [login to view URL]

In a GET request, the parameters are sent as part of the URL. In a POST request, the parameters are sent as a body of the request, after the headers. To do a POST with HttpURLConnection, you need to write the parameters to the connection after you have opened the connection. I would love to do this for you :)
