INTRO:
Thanks to the help of an brilliant web developer, I've managed to get these pop-up windows on my webpage to work the way I want them to. But now my client is really pushing it, and now I'm in need of an even more brilliant developer to help me make these pop-ups work they way I want them to work.
THE WEBPAGE RIGHT NOW:
As you can see in the attachments, the way the webpage works is; whenever the user clicks on one of the orange pointers, a popup appears, and each pointer has it's own pop-up. I built it all with html, css and some jquery/javascript I sourced from some random site, and then the brilliant web developer developed it even further.
In order to close the pop-up window, the user can simply click the close button or anywhere outside of the screen.
The problem my client is having: After one pop-up window is open, the user should be able to click on another orange pointer and then the popup for that pointer will open and the other will close automatically. At the moment whenever the user wants to open another popup he/she would have to click the close button or outside the popup box first before being able to open the next popup.
WHAT I NEED DONE:
So... I need the javascript ammended, so when a pop-up window is open, the user can still click on any other orange pointer (as well as every other link on the webpage), and when the user does click on that other link or popup, the current popup window automatically closes. I hope I've made this brief clear and easy to understand.
