Currently pan controls are disabled on a Google Map on iPhones and other devices with a screen width less than 400x350px. Even is you force the pan controls to appear by using panControl: true; they will not work. I am looking to develop custom pan controls that are only visible with a $(document).width() < 400 The pan controls should appear around the border of the Google Map like the attached mockup. The amount the map pans should adjust according to the zoom level just like the current Google map controls.
