ASP Website Fixes

This bid is for a youth sports statistics website which has a few needs in upgrading the usablity for the end user. A Reporters DB has been created so that parents / coaches / reporters at games can upload their articles. The uploaded articles need to have the headline displayed to 3 places at once and a clickable link to see the full article: 1) the front page news section 2) the corrosponding sport section 3) the corrosponding team / league (if any's) news page A scoreboard system needs to be implemented - a basic groundwork has been laid out for this in each of the sports, however flexiblity will be given to the coder to implement it for the best possible usablity. The players profiles have been reworked (at least for baseball, they need to be redone for the other 3 sports but it should mainly be reusable code), but the last coder forgot two important pieces of code which were in the previous versions of the profiles: 1) showing live stats based on a paid subscription 2) the ability to upload a personal photo once a subscription has been paid for On the index page of all sports except for baseball(where this has already been accomplished) Stats leaders by age catagories need to appear on the left hand column. Then there should be a "more" link to go to a sortable stats page such as an ESPN or a Fox sports page would have. There are four sports involved (in order of priority): 1a) Baseball (most of the work in this section is done but there are a few minor fixes left.) 1b) Football 2) Soccer 3) Basketball We would prefer someone who is familiar with sports and the mathmatical calculations which go along with them. Most of this should go pretty quickly as there are templates from the way we want it to look and feel. Most of the coding is already in place, this is minor fixes here and there for functionality. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The site runs on a hybrid of mainly ASP with some PHP sprinkled in. PHP can be used for include pages as long as everything functions correctly The back end DB is MySQL The server is windows 2000 Uploads are done using aspupload
