Auction Website

I have developed an Auction Website in ASP.NET 1.1 with SQL Server 2000 in which we have feature of conducting multiple auctions on the same date and [login to view URL] your information solution is hosted on a shared server with SQL Server 2005. When the Auction goes on live and there are more than 200 users logged into website and participate in bidding process the website crashes and reports following error. [login to view URL] keeping Max pool size starting from 50 to 300. [login to view URL] keeping the pooling false. [login to view URL] sure to close all the connections on the pages. [login to view URL] the source code to avoid opening more than one connection on any of the ASPX pages. Also we already know we can covert the solution to .NET 2.0 and there are methods available to clear the pool connections whenever this error is encountered but that is last thing I would like to do. So any suggestions on this ??? A perfect resolution in ASP.NET 1.1 can get a reward upto 25 US Dollars if this problem is fully resolved ! ## Deliverables I just need to know what could be done in ASP.NET 1.1 source code apart from what we have already done to overcome this error.
