I need someone to develop an application capable of sending Instant Messages to major networks via the command line in Linux. The major networks to be covered include: - AOL Instant Messaging - MSN Messenger - Yahoo Instant Messenger The command line application should accept the following parameters: - Protocol (AIM, MSN, YIM) - IM account username - IM account password - Recipient IM account - Message An example method of using such an application from the shell command line for AIM would be: shell> sendim AIM myscreenname mypassword buddyscreenname "Hello There!" Similarly, in the case of MSN it might look like: shell> sendim MSN myaccount@[login to view URL] mypassword friendname@[login to view URL] "Hello There!" I am currently operating on a tight schedule, so need people who have solid experience working at the shell level (C/C++/Python) to complete the above program. Of course having prior knowledge of these protocols and having written tools for them in Linux would be a plus. I would need you to provide basic documentation on usage (instructions to use and of the basic layout of the source) Serious bidders only please.
