C/C++ Media Player

C/C++ Media Player I'm looking for a simplistic C/C++ application that can play media files such as mpeg-2 and mpeg 3 video, mp3, and display jpeg pictures. The code can be in three different applications or in one, it doesn't matter. It's very important that the code can be compiled both under MS Windows XP and under Mandrake Linux. So VC++ compatibility is also a must. For mpeg and mp3, must have the ability to play, stop, pause, skip, and change volume levels. Proper documentation is a must. Code must be raw without any use of third party components. ***Addendum: ***Try OpenGL or DirectX in to play audio or video. A more mainstream approach is favored. File formats for audio and video may be; mpg2-3, mp3, or wma. And please be mindful of your bids, this is under $100.00, not to demean anyone but code to do this is available at virtually no cost. We just need a version that can perform better in a Mandrake environment that what we already have. Documentation only where needed, not too extensive. Code must include complete lists of includes and file/header references. This is an opening project for more. Thank you. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
