attendance management (CP 2006-4-3)

we enclose the skeleton of an application made of a few forms. The aim is to load attendance data from an existing shift management program, process it and providing a user interface for possible manual changes. One important requirement is: due to a visual impairement of the user, all the forms MUST be designed to be used at a screen resolution of 640x480. The database used is Firebird v. 1.5 . Access to database is done by IBObjects v. 4.5 . Programming language is Delphi v. 5. Coding rules apply. We provide all tables (with data) and all SPs (only the selected coder gets them). The SPs were written by a senior programmer and compile OK, but - other than that - they are untested. It will be your duty to test them and fix them if needed. The coder main duty will be to attach forms to live data. More detailed explanations in the attached files. This project spans over a number of days. We cannot risk to wait until the final deadline only to discover that you won't be able to deliver. If so asked, we are ready to pay 25% of the total amount of the bid for each of the 4 milestones. CAVEAT: while we are reasonable people and well understand if an extension is needed due to unforeseen problems (please see our bidder history), we strongly dislike the unscrupolous coders whose unique aim is to put their hands on as many projects as possible. They have no regard for the bidders time and deadlines and will be treated accordingly. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
