AUDIO plugins (audioscrobbler)

Comcore Scrobbler Objective • Rapid development of a scrobbler that posts details about the audio file that a client-side user is playing to the server (along with identification of the user) • The client-side tool/plug-in should work on all currently used versions of iTunes, WinAmp and Windows Media Player (PC) and optional also on MAC (iTunes). • The server-side should not be developed (only a small testing environment) Requirements • Use the existing open source audio scrobbler protocol [login to view URL] • Personalization with our logo* • User-friendly installer (personalized with our logos)* • Multilingual distributions* • Dialog screen where login data (and other preference data) can be filled in • Authentication to our servers of username and password • Send the user details and details about the current song to our server * We’ll need a set of 5 languages with 5 different logos to start with, Each distribution is different than another by the following elements: - name - logo - login / password validation location (poll a script that returns OK or NOK) - language of the texts - scrobbler location (url of the script to send song info currently playing) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
