Create Exit Page Script

I need to create a script that will display a pop-up message when a user tries to close or leave my website by any of these means: - By closing the entire browser window - By closing the browser tab - By typing in another url in the same tab It MUST NOT display when user clicks on a link on the page itself or stays within the same domain. Here's the pop-up message: "Before you leave this site, would you like to have a look at our special offer for 100 products with Resell Rights?" Answers: YES | NO Clicking NO will allow the user to either close the page or continue to another website. Clicking yes will lead the visitor to another page on my site, loads in the same window. Script must identify visitors based on cookie, so it will not be displayed to the same visitor more than once. Script must also be located in an external file, so I can call the script from any page and also modify the settings if I want to. I'd suggest Javascript or PHP, but pleae give your recommendations.
