Custom Wordpress Blog Skin and Visual Identity

Project is for the design of a Wordpress Blog skin for a training and development company offering products to individuals. We are looking for Visual identity also. The site will essentially be a Wordpress skin / template which will fit over the Wordpress back-end. The index page of the site will show recent content added using the Wordpress CMS but will have the look and feel of a normal website rather than a blog. The site will have static pages such as "About Us" and "Portfolio" pages amongst others which will use the same site design but will be managed outwith the Wordpress blog CMS via notepad or dreamweaver. The site will be three columns with the navigation to static pages in the left column, content (blog posts) in the centre column, and Wordpress functionality such as the categorisation of blog posts etc. will be included in the right hand column below any other navigation to static pages. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). Summary Requirements: Graphic design for a new site / Wordpress skin. The design will be for one page only as the rest of the site will utilise the same layout. Coding of the site to fit over the Wordpress CMS allowing us all of the functionality that Wordpress affords. Please feel free to ask any questions for further clarification. Specific Technical Requirements: The site will not be designed using tables, strictly CSS and Divs. The navigation will be text based / not image based and will make creative use of CSS for presentability. The site's code will be legible and clean, stripped of all unnecessary tags/ code and will contain sufficient commentary. The sites main navigation will be presented at the top of the page (and also in the left hand column with sub navigation) Addtional Information: We will be conducting similar projects like this over the coming months, successful and satisfactory completition may result in additional projects being awarded. ## Platform Newest version of wordpress.
