Build Full-Featured Site in PHP / mySQL

This project involves rewriting the code of [login to view URL] into an easy-to-work with MVC. The specific MVC/framework that will be used is dependent upon your preferences, experiences and ability to justify its usage. For instance, we believe the ZEND framework is too bloated for our scalable site so ZEND-only programmers need not bid. The project is mature in scope and we have the necessary designs for all the pages and features carefully thought out. When you work with us, you will not experience "feature creep," we have a fully developed idea for all the features that are needed. The first part of your job would be to work with us to create milestones and a workflow for the completion of the project. We would like to see two-week development cycles and around 2-4months until the completion of the project. The most important part of your job is to make your code well documented and easily accessible to other programmers who will be able to pick up where you left off as needed. We will have consultants working with us to check the code and make sure it is scalable, secure and easy to follow. You are primarily working on a download site with a social component of contributing files, so look at [login to view URL] for all the features that you see there. Some, but not all are: - User registration/authentication - User ability to upload files, manage user profiles with point rewards for uploading files - Administrator panel to monitor files, screenshots, information submitted, - User permission settings. - Virus scan - server side implementation required. For this project, you will be given PSD files of all the designs and will be expected to parse them into CSS/xHTML. We can have extended meetings to discuss our total feature needs and setup an appropriate timeline. You will need to help us set up ways to A/B test certain designs. You will be expected to be familiar and able to work with a minimal install of Debian Linux and work with synchronization of a second back up server. This is an involved project, amateurs need not apply.
