The core of this system is to allow all persons involved, the ability to do as they please, with only the reminder of work coming from Companion Software. In short, Companion software will probably only be a program that cross-references already existing platforms for its incoming, and outgoing information. Work groups can simply talk to the system in a variety of ways, and the system checks (say) the stock/shipping database, and automatically takes care of the rest; ordering parts necessary for said build, and asking employees to come in at specific times.
On the other hand, this system checks volunteered information from employees to see if they are available for work. This will require the system to also cross reference certain social data bases... perhaps an added app to places like FaceBook.
In a nut shell, this allows employers to simply ask for what they want from their own company/area, and the employees get what they need; a say in what to do with their time during this short stint of existence, without the added annoyance of someone looking over ones shoulder. I'm hoping this will destroy micro-management, and steer people towards what they WANT to do as a profession, getting rid of what seems to be a productivity driven work ethic.
