adding jQuery feature to website

Please visit this website: [login to view URL] As you can see at the header of the website, when user click on the arrow before and after the logos, the main posts in the middle of the page changes according to the logo. I don't want the moving between the posts to be very sudden and direct like this. I want to have some kind of slider to move the post shown. So posts slide when user clicks on the arrow and a smooth fading happens to the colors to be changed.. Using jQuery is preferable unless other options are doing the same feature.. Providing examples is preferable.. Website speed is an important issue.. so don't slow it down.. I am a programmer and I know how this work can be done.. so I am not paying more than $15 for this.. so please don't bid if you want more..
