Hello, My name is Marcos Alba and I am the co-founder of SocialBets, a collective playing platform based in Spain. We are currently developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in Android and we are looking for a programmer. JOB DESCRIPTION: The developer should code an Android app of 10 different screens. Design and detailed requirements are given. In addition, he or she should write the back-end code required for the connection with the server (preferably in PHP, however, Ruby and Python could also be an option). Daily communication (via Skype or email) and daily deployment will be required. SELECTION CRITERIA: After reviewing the applications, we will choose 5 developers for a two hour programming test (instructions are in the attached document). After this we will choose 3 developers for a personal interview via Skype. Finally, we will choose a developer based on both programming and interpersonal skills.

La lluvia en Sevilla es una maravilla Hello Marcos, I am a developer from Argentina with more than 10 years of experience. I have worked mainly in web/backend developments, but I have some experience in Android. To be honest, I have created 3 apps using Titanium mobile, but during that time I had to do native code. Now I am in the process of learning Native Android Development (not NDK, but the regular SDK). I have to say that I consider myself to be a quick learner, though. However, I have some stronger experience in building backend APIs. I have designed 3 RESTful APIs from scratch and designed clients for at least 5 APIs. I have worked with PHP and Ruby on Rails.
