Bike Rental Shop Database

My customer is looking for a database + interface to track bike rentals and transactions made by employees. These are the details: There are 200 bikes available for rent at multiple locations. Employees login to the system and assign rented bikes to customers. When the bikes are returned, the time is recorded and an invoice displayed (in simple HTML). In addition to this business process, the system should also display the following information: status of the bikes currently rented out. Number of rentals done by each employee in a certain time span. I think, this is a nice project. The steps required are: -design database -design HTML of input- and output templates using an existing framework (e.g. jquery UI) -build PHP scripts to securely retrieve and save new data The project does NOT include any data entry!!!
