AINS is a national provider of Voice, Data and Cloud services in Australia.
We are seeking developer(s) who are capable in Java and have experience coding VoIP applications against Asterisk AGI/AMI interfaces.
We are using the open source Jitsi client ([login to view URL]) combined with Asterisk Java ([login to view URL]) to build our plugins.
We have a large portfolio of work available, more than 9+ months and potentially indefinitely for the right people.
This specific advertisement is for someone to make modifications to the Jitsi source code which we have already started and provide an interface view into Asterisk call queues and provide features for agents and supervisors.
A detailed scope of work will be provided to the successful bidder. This initial work is to be considered your trial, if you are successful you will receive permanent and immediate on-going full time work.
Please review the Jitsi and Asterisk Java documentation and perhaps review their latest source code, then review the attached screenshot showing the required interface. Note: This is a mock up only, you need to build it. We have already had a small portion of this done and you will likely be able to pickup and run with this.
We are open to awarding this project to multiple bidders as this is our initial trial project. And any number of developers may be selected for this and the on-going permanent position.
If you are NOT willing to be available for an immediate start at no less than 40 hours dedicated to my work, DO NOT BID.
Using the Asterisk AMI/AGI API interface (already included in the software project) you need to deliver exactly the attached mock up picture the below features.
- Login/logout
- Agent button for self service, and Supervisor overrides
- Pause/Unpause
- Answer
- Transfer
- Barge
- Whisper
- Send to Voicemail
- Queue listing (as shown)
- Call listings (as shown)
- All and any graphics (icons are all available in Jitsi)
This software is already in use by AINS, this is enhancements planned to bring our hosted voice offering to a standard required to compete with new business markets.
You will be expected to checkout a version of our software from SVN and check-in your changes to our code base.
You will be provided a remote desktop you can RDP to for compiling and testing the software in our staging environment. However we will also facilitate connections so you can do quick testing in your own development environment.
All software plugins will remain the property of AINS and you will not be authorised to re-use any of the code or intellectual property you obtain with AINS.
