Calculating solutions of polynomial equations in Ruby

I require Ruby code to implement algorithms that are described in the attached paper. The code to be written is essentially about solving linear equations involving polynomials. You can use ready-made Ruby classes for calculating with polynomials and for calculating with matrices for the linear equations.
