Complete Hotel/Motel Management Software

Motel = a hotel for people travelling by car, with a place for the car near each room First, let's understand how my business works. My business is providing a room for guest to rest for temporary or overnight. Almost all guests come to my business by cars. When they arrived the frontdesk, my service boy will take them to the room. Then they paid for the room. They can order food&beverage or buy a service such as laundary. They have to paid once they get the food&beverage or service they ordered. And for my business management. I'm currently have 3 clerk at frontdesk and 3 serviceboy. Also 3 housekeeping. All of them work in turn. One at a time. For example: start 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM...... start 08.00 PM to 12:00 PM..... start 00.00 AM to 08:00 AM.... etc.. So I would want the software to be able to manage and calculate the working hours for my workers too. Also as you can see, almost all guests come to my business by cars, so for customer tracking and market analysing. The clerk at the frontdesk will have to record Car Information, Guest Information of everyday visiting. The record will record from 08:00 AM to 08:00 AM of the next day. The current record I use is as following example: Date of record: Monday , January 10th, 2003 No| Arrival Date&Time | Service Boy In Charge of Arrival | Car License Place| Car Type| Car Brand| Car Colour| No of all passenger | Male Passenger | Female Passenger | Depart Date&Time | Service Boy In Charge of Depart | Room Number | Rest Type | Special Note Example::: No. 1 | ........... No. 2 | .......... So, I want a Motel Mangement System to do record and analysis my business. The software should be in VB6. Please also note that, I want the software to be like those hotel management commercial version but must do have my custom requirement feature. (I don't found any commercial version that can manage my business yet) Please see below for more detail...>>.... ## Deliverables Two type of rest: Temporary(can rest not more than 3 hours) and OverNight (must check out before noon of the next day, or if they check in after 4:00AM, they can check out before 02:00PM the same day. Guests can choose to rest as any rest at any rooms they want. Currently there are 24 rooms as follow. (we will be building more rooms in the near future) Room: 101|102 103|104 105|106 201|202 203|204 205|206 301|302 303|304 305|306 501|502 503|504 505|506 So, I want the system that can do all feature related to my industry and can also do a marketing analysis such as a graphical statistics. For example, I can see total number of guests, rest, car, etc.. in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, anually, etc.. And the system must be a multi-user says:: admin... can do anything, setting, edit, analysis, etc.. clerk... can only do add the record.. and must have multiple clerk account as my business do have multiple clerk. And must also be a Multi-Lingual: (English, Thai) requirement: Front Desk: (Clerk, ServiceBoy) Guest Information: (check-in date&time, check-out date&time, etc) Car Information: (car type, car brand, car colour, license plate, number of passenger(male, female, children), special note) HouseKeeping: Guest Services: (laundary, food&beverage, etc) Maintenence: (date&time of maintenence, etc) Lost & Found: Analysis: Guest Search: (by car's license place, etc) graphical reports, charts All setting must be customizable, so I can set the software as the way I want to. I want to use a specific icon for each status instead of using a colour) Or if you've a better idea to recommend, I would appreciate it. And for the backend database. It's okay to use an access database. However, I would want the software to looked professionally, so you may change the *.mdb extention to my software extention (so, most people won't know that the software is using access database), or it would be really good choice if you can make a unique database for the software. And I would want the software to be able to add a new module. Say, I may want to add a Restaurant Management system to the existing software... etc... So, the software must be as customizable to the hotel/motel industry as much as possible. *Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform All Windows.
