To deliver a windows desktop client application that interfaces with an existing MS SQL based application. The application will allow users to quickly and easily record time spent on work assignments created using a separate existing web interface (not part of this project). A detailed requirements document in use case format is provided. All database interactions are via a predefined API using existing stored procedures. This project focuses on the desktop display and user interaction. The user interfaces are to be created using the DotNetSkin ([login to view URL]) product to allow simple enhancement of the user interface. Note - new spec v1.6 and API definition 1.2 added. 9 Feb - new spec v1.7 and API v1.2 added.

Hi all, I've updated the bid request with version 1.6 of the documentation. The changes are minor:
1. specifying VB.NET as the language.
2. we will provide a dll for the password encryption.
3. no need for user documentation.
4. some more architecture detail
5. some more detail around installation
thanks

Hi All,
Due to feedback from several bidders we now plan to provide a sample database for development purposes. This database will provide the working API. It will not contain data. Please adjust your bids accordingly.
thanks

Hi all,
As promised we have updated the requirements package to v1.7b with SQL scripts to setup a sample database (with a small amount of sample data). Please take a look and see if it helps you to refine your bid.
thanks
