Hi, It can be done for xls, but PHP works not so good for that because of huge memory consumption. So depending on your xls file size there could be 2 approaches: 1) If xls won't exceed 10-15 mb then it can be done with php 2) If greater than that, need to use other tools like Apache POI or save xls in csv format and then upload to the server Can you provide xls file example?

Hi there, It can be done .xls file. I have done few projects related to this only. Once you will upload updated file, the database will be updated automatically. You will have an admin panel from where you can upload .xls file and also view the data which are uploaded. There will be one front end page from where user will enter there order number and see the states. There will be one front end form from where user will make the order. All order will be saved in the database and you can export to excel. All order status will uploaded/updated by xls file. Please message me for any clarification and we are good to go. Hi We have understood the work very clearly. As per your requirement, we are telling you upfront that the excel sheet updation and all will not be possible. Alternatively, what we will do is, we will be building the back end admin section for this in such a way that from the back end you will enter all details similarly what you would have entered in the excel sheet and then click on update records. This will directly get stored to the database and when the front end button " CHECK STATUS" is clicked, then automatically all details fetched from database and showed in the separate next page. the idea to upload the order status by xls is good but there are records are there on your server, as you said the customer places the order from your website so the track page can easily get data from your database and you if you want to update the order status for every specific order, you may need some admin order track page.
