Slider Fixed (Showing Discontinued Graphics)

I have a website that was designed in Zen cart that has a slider of product images on the website, I believe it was done in Java Script, it was part of the original template when we purchased it. The problem is the slider is showing images of products that are discontinued or on hold, I need the slider to only show images of active products. Must be able to start work immediately. must be available on google talk or skype for communications must be experienced in zen and how to handle this quickly
