The project is to design a web system where college applications will be submitted, sorted and retrieved. This project is for the web graphic design work only and not for any programming, except for HTML and CSS.
There are three components to the system, all which must be designed: a public/informational website, an interface for applicants to complete college applications, and an interface for colleges to retrieve applications. Many screens will be wizard-like.
We will provide any images and suggest a color scheme, although you can propose others. The site design must be cutting edge, like [login to view URL], [login to view URL], and flysong.com. It must also be clear and easy to read and navigate. Clear and thoughtful information architecture and design is a must. Likewise your work must be extremely professional and comparable to large corporate U.S. sites. You should be in tune with U.S. design styles and concepts, particularly with the teen market.
We will also be providing many wireframes with content and functionality for design.
I am attaching some early wireframes we have done as an example of the type of work required. Please provide samples of your work when bidding and/or a proposed design from our wireframes. This set of wireframes are in MS Powerpoint.
You must deliver all the pages as Photoshop (or equivalent) files and as HTML (i.e.: your images must be cut-up and the fonts for text styles clearly defined).
