I have around 5 years of experience in techno functional domains. Presently I am working with a leading IT/Analytics Provider as a Senior Analyst and leading the Offshore team for a North American Retailer. Last I was working with Absolutdata: Research and Analytics as a Consultant. My Role there was that of a Team Lead and was mainly handling Analytics Consulting Assignments. Prior to Absolutdata, I worked with Redwood Associates (a start up) as a Business Analyst and was performing multiple roles of Analyst, Account Manager and Lead National Analytics Training Delivery which primarily involved Statistical Modeling using tools like SAS, Statistica, SPSS apart from Project Management, Client Relationship Management, Business Development and giving Corporate and Retail Trainings in Analytics. I was National Analytics Training Delivery Lead as well wherein I was involved with churning out quality content in Analytics; building case studies in statistical techniques like regression, cluster analysis etc apart from imparting corporate and retail trainings. I have experience of working with all the major domain clients like Banking, Retail, Telecom, IT and Automotive. I have implemented projects which involve Predictive Modeling techniques like Logistic Regression, Multiple Regression, Market Mix Modeling, Media Spends Optimization, Scorecard Modeling and Segmentation techniques like Cluster Analysis and have also been part of development of Project Management Toolkit for one of the Clients. My Skill set comprises of mainly SAS, STATISTICA, and Microsoft Technologies like .Net, VB, SQL and my Expertise is in the area of Statistics/Statistical Modeling and Project Management. Prior to working with Redwood, I had worked with Tata Consultancy Services for 3.25 years, mainly in banking domain in technical roles like application development and functional roles like Risk Analyst. I also have 7 months international experience with Deutsche Bank in Market Risk Operations. Was deputed to Deutsche Bank Singapore (client of TCS) for 7 months and worked in Market Risk Division as an Analyst. My tasks primarily included Global Reporting (Basel II), Risk assessment (i.e. Value at Risk, VaR) and VaR Analysis. Prior to that, I was into Application development and worked with Clients like American Express and Scotia Bank Analytics is my passion and I am looking for opportunities which can satiate my thirst to expand my knowledge in this field. I discovered this passion when I was deputed to Deutsche Bank, Singapore, where I worked in Market Risk Operations. There I used to deal with numbers on a daily basis. Those numbers got me interested in the Statistics, and I realised the importance of numbers in business decision making and strategy which further led me to do a course in Advanced Analytics using SAS from ATI Bangalore, and eventually getting employed with Redwood Associates as a Business Analyst. I know for a fact now that Analytics/Quantitative Research involving Statistics/Analytics Consulting, is the field which I really want to be in since it compliments my natural abilities very well. I can safely say with confidence that I possess all the skills and aptitude to perform the role of any challenging capacity especially of any degree of High End Analysis and Strategic Insight Generation.

I have done a lot of this kind of work. My speciality is regression theory. I have a large collection of robust algs for testing various hypothese, incl minimisation of median techniques with weighting (a fairly unusual one :).
