Business Development

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager for our U.K Construction and building company to drive our market share through increasing our clients base. The role will be home-based and will include: Generating new business by approaching prospects and arranging face-to-face meetings Converting those meetings into active clients or introducers who refer clients on a regular basis Managing and developing those introducers Dealing with and closing any leads from your network of introducers or clients Ensuring our CRM system is up to date and all activity is logged Reporting on your own business KPIs The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and confident, reliable and motivated, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and face-to-face). They will be able to manage their own diary, book appointments and follow up meetings, as well as effectively present to end-clients over the phone and close them. They will have a ‘can-do’, pro-active attitude, always looking for where they can add value and go the extra mile. They will also be able to use their own initiative and work without being supervised. Tenacious and with a demonstrable track record of hitting targets in a sales environment, they will have had at least 5 year’s experience in a similar role. This role will be based from home and will involve travel by car to visit appointments as well as other internal and external meetings. Candidates must have their own vehicle, as well as a room suitable to use as a working space with the ability to work undisturbed and without distraction.
