We are a software company and our main products are written in native C++. However one of our tasks requires to integrate a .NET dll (an API) with our modules written in C++ so we're looking for a skilled programmer who can "wrap" the .NET classes into unmanaged C++ classes for future use with the main C++ applications.
There are several options to handle this task, but the main restriction that will give more weight on a particular one will consider the easiness of the integration and the speed of invoking a method(we will be doing frequent method calls).
The current options on the table for implementing this wrapper are:
a) A socket communication between the .NET and the C++ modules;
b) Creating a COM interface for the C++ classes and access the .NET API via COM interop;
c) Use of managed C++ to access the .NET library and wrap these calls into native C++ classes;
All information about this .NET library can be found here: [login to view URL] Specific API documentation: [login to view URL]
We will consider for this job only programmers with relevant experience who can suggest the best option AND can implement this wrapper for us.
Please let me know if there are more questions about the task!
Good luck!
