Hello, I have worked with many EC2 instance. I can setup your ftp user and will sort out the mysql issue which is causing downtime for your website. For backup, if you have any backup instance provided by ec2, i schedule a weekly backup of all your domain files and its db on it. I am ready to start on it now. Hi, I have plenty of experience with AWS, Linux and Wordpress, so I think I can help with this. Are you using the Ubuntu or RedHat based image (AMI)? To make sure I understand your requirements correctly I'd like to clarify a few things: 1)MYSQL: Do you know what config change you need? Do you know why is the error happening and what is the error message? Do you need me to investigate anything or just make the change? 2) FTP: I can setup FTP on the server and configure Amazon security groups to allow it, however, I would strongly advise against using FTP as it's very insecure and you will leave yourself open to hacking. Is there any reason why you need to use FTP and can't use SFTP instead? I can help you with either. 3)Backup: I can create a script which will stop your server and create a snapshot. The snapshot will incur additional costs from Amazon. Is that what you expect? Would you be ok with that? 4)MAIL: Again, I can setup mail server and configure Amazon security groups. The question is what do you want to do with it? Do you want to receive and store emails which will be picked up from a remote PC/laptop via IMAP/POP? Do you want to forward the mail somwhere else?
