Betting API in (ideally) vb.net - repost

Hi, I saw your original post for this project so am rebidding now on this updated version. I've been through the API spec and it all looks quite achievable. I can easily create you a VB.net interface to call all eight of the services supplied the Pinnacle API. I'm thinking each service can be represented by a function with appropriate input parameters, and returning a structure (with sub-structures) representing the data structure returned by the service. It should be pretty easy to navigate through those return structures in that case. I'd propose providing this API wrapper to you as a VB.net DLL, which you can then simply reference in your own code and call as you need to. Or, as you'll be getting all the source code, just merge it in with your own codebase, whichever you prefer. I don't think there's any problem with doing this in VB.net. All my code is fully compliant with Microsofts design and styling guidelines, Stylecopped and fully xcommented throughout, so if you do go into the source code it'll be easy to see what's going on and work with it. I expect I can turn this around for you in 5 days maximum, probably less in reality. I'm UK-based, so will be working in the same time zone as you, and no risk of anything being lost in translation! Can I do this in .NET CLR on the MS SQL server? It would be smarter I think than you having to maintain "another sloppy app" on your computer. I have a BS, live in NY, am American, can talk on the phone at any time, and have been making systems for over 20 years. Thanks, Joe

UK based .net developer with experience of working with WCF / REST services. Can start immediately and will probably take a few days depending on what sort of processing you want doing to the data, configuration / GUI screens and extension points you require. I could build the system to be plugin based if this would be more suitable ie add "hook points" into the programme which would allow you to code the actual betting logic. For example, have a plugin hook point that lets you set the code to run whenever a new download occurs or a new race etc is added. Hope this is of interest
