Problem:
- I recently updated a hosted Wordpress (3.3.1) theme and it broke some custom CSS for the header image
- it seems to be an issue of a missing class tag in the page code
- header image (the extensions of the J and G) must extend to dynamically fit browser viewport
Website is jetstreaming [dot] org
I've attached some images:
- [login to view URL] is the current state
- good marked [login to view URL] is how I would like it. Notice that the arms of the J and g extend
Requirements:
- the arms must expand to fit any modified browser viewport
- solution must modify the header via CSS, background etc.
- the logo must be centred in the viewport
- I do not want a new png logo created with re-drawn arms
- Must work on Safari, Firefox, Chrome and IE, most current versions of each
Note:
- please, no form-letter bids with lists of your previous work
- bids directly addressing the issue with method ideas are preferred
Thanks!
Hi there, seems to me the simplest fix would be to add a bg image to the #header div that was centered behind your logo image and simply extended those lines past an arbitrarily large resolution width (image file should still be pretty tiny because there is very little detail except for those lines. Best of luck with the fix, -A
