383599 xml feed import for oscommerce

Hi, MUST HAVE OsCommerce EXPERIENCE How it works: A supplier will update their xml feed of their products. Your script will check their xml feed once per day for updates. any updates are imported into the OsCommerce system. the updates will affect products stored in the OsCommerce product database - such as product name, description, price, image url, availability and any other variables we may need. I am not sure of the full list of product variables yet - we will need a simple way to add extra data fields to the products - for example, if we get a new supplier and they have 2 image urls instead of 1, or they have a discount price and a normal price, etc. We intend to have multiple suppliers, so the script needs to be able to add new suppliers easily, when we get them. I have some coding background (intermediate) and would like the script to be simple enough so I can edit the code and maintain it after you create it. Please supply previous OsCommerce work examples.
