Create SEO friendly site for showcasing photos

Require someone to create a website as follows - not an elaborate design but simple, attractive and classy looking - good architecture for maximum SEO - strong SEO functionality with URL, H1 headers, Meta Titles, images, links etc all optimised - blog-like style at the front to be updated manually, with artist's portfolios and pages sitting behind this part of the site, populated by XML feeds or files - images in front end blog could be hosted locally, but assuming main portfolios of images to be served from primary site servers - easy for others to re-blog images but ensuring maximum link value is returned - I would prefer ability to update in the future if possible, add new pages, artists etc - main objective is to draw visitors in before passing them on the primary eCommerce site Good chance to produce a classy looking site working on a fun subject.
