This role:
We are looking for 2 R experts for a short-term project.
Your mission will be to refactor one of our tools (written in R-language) to optimize its performances and scalability using Apache Spark (interfaced through the Sparklyr R library).
Requirements:
You are an expert R developer, able to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, intellectually curious team player with knowledge of:
• R programming language
• Apache Spark (interfaced through the Sparklyr package)
• Experience in Big Data analysis is an asset
• Knowledge of Linux and Docker are an asset
• English communication skills
• Availability to work for minimum and continuous 4hrs/day during the CET 9:00-18:00 time window.
Your role, like all others, requires open mind, ability to adapt and can-do mindset. This may stretch the boundaries of your previous experience and education!
