graphic file showing wands arranged in pattern

I need a graphic file that I'm going to take to a store like Kinko's to print on some large cardboard, for a magic trick. Here's the trick: You show the audience some pieces of cardboard that fit together to form 14 wands. Then you rearrange the pieces of cardboard, and now they show 15 wands, even though the wands look the same size! This is just a version of the "Vanishing Leprechaun" trick at <[login to view URL]> but I want to make a version with a larger image, so it can be printed on large cardboard and shown to a medium-size audience. More info on how the graphic should be made, is in the "deliverables" section. ## Deliverables The secret is that after the pieces are rearranged, each wand segment is joined to one that was slightly shorter than before, so that's where the missing wand "comes from". This graphic shows how the pieces should be cut, and how many length units each wand extends above and below the center line: <[login to view URL]> For example, in the first position is a "4" over an "11". That means in the graphic, the top part of the wand extends 4 units above the line, and the bottom part extends 11 units below the line. (A "unit" can be whatever length you want it to be just as long as the picture still fits together.) Note that the pair of numbers in the last position is a zero over a zero, so nothing goes there. If you notice, before the pieces are rearranged, each pair of numbers above and below the center line, add up to 15. However, if you were to cut along the lines indicated and then swap the bottom two pieces, each pair of top and bottom numbers would now add up to 14. Of course, the wands have to be spaced out perfectly evenly from each other so that the pairs of the ends of the wands will still match up after the pieces are cut and rearranged. So I assume this would be done in some graphics program that supports a "grid" layout, to make it easy to lock the wand graphics into place exactly the right distance apart from each other, and to make the wand segments extend exactly the right number of units above and below the center line. So the graphic should be done at a resolution where it can be printed out so that it's about 4 feet wide (which would make it about 1.5 to 2 feet tall). ## Platform It's an image, so platform is not applicable.
