We need a Silverlight browser plugin developed to play WMDRM encrypted wma files using legacy WMDRM licences and PlayReady licences.
Aimed Delivery Date: 2015-05-01
Our customer currently provides streamed audiobooks for its members to listen on webpages using a windows media player plugin. The wma files are for the most part DRM protected with WMDRM10. Microsoft is dropping support for WMDRM as of July this year. As such we are changing the licensing server to using a hybrid PlayReady service. This solution however requires the use of Silverlight player to understand and modify the DRM header structure on the WMDRM protected wma files when used in conjunction with a PlayReady licence.
Develop a Silverlight browser plug-in that is able to:
• Play WMDRM encrypted wma files.
• Use existing WMDRM license files users have previously obtained.
• Acquire PlayReady licence via authorisation request with website.
• Use new PlayReady licences acquired from EZDRM, via website.
• Provide the following controls: play, pause, forward (next track), back (previous track) and volume.
• Auto-play the next track in the playlist.
• Provide a javascript interface to the Silverlight object, such that the search and stream web-page can be modified to load playlists into the Silverlight object using javascript.
