Job brief We are looking for a methodical Market Research analyst to work with our busy Business Creation team. The successful candidate will be able to analyze autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness and write effective marketing plans to suit. Occasionally you may also be required to implement the marketing plan on behalf of the client, as well as supporting the client during their decision making process regarding product designs, prices and promotions. It is imperative that you are able to research a broad range of industries and standard company templates will be provided. Your work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation and development of client projects, as well as for the long term growth of Fruition Business Development. Responsibilities • Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and marketing plans • Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect them • Perform valid and reliable SWOT analysis • Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the client’s presence in the market • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices. Requirements • Proven market research analysis experience • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and draft marketing plans • Strong communication and presentation skills • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, online analytics, Google AdWords etc) • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods and proprietary information databases • Exquisite communication and people skills • Demonstrable ability to multi task and adhere to deadlines • Relevant diploma or tertiary qualification The ideal candidate will preferably located in Western Australia, or anywhere in Australia or relatively close by to Australia. However international candidates will also be considered. Typically client projects are completed within 4-6 weeks, with up to six clients in one cycle. The advertised pay rate is based on each project you will be assigned and for the right candidate the position will be ongoing with the option to become permanent with Fruition Business Development.
