I'm a sociology PhD candidate who's been asked to develop an article about my experience in doing a PhD part time, by distance, enrolled in Melbourne - having moved to Amsterdam. The article is for the British Sociological Association's newsletter and is supposed to be 1,700 words long. As it's for the BSA I would like an editor from the UK.
I've completed a first draft and am wanting an editor to help me identify what is working really well and what can be trimmed or deleted, because I need to reduce my word count from 1885 to 1700. Also very happy to take advice on how I can sharpen up the structure of it, to ensure it's an intriguing read and tells a good story.
