Hi there, I worked on a similar project where i had to develop a 2D Truss program in Matlab in order to solve a FE model. The results obtained in Matlab had to be compared with those resulted after solving the same model in Abaqus. I also created programs in Matlab to solve 2D beam models and also Shell models.
