Looking for someone with suitable skills to create a solution for extracting particular fields from a CSV file and, depending on one of three states in one of those fields extracting a URL from metadata within another specified field. A couple of the fields also need adapting for the output. While the fields are labelled consistently in the input file, they not in consistent column. The output consists of a CSV file that contains certain fields and data from the original rows that meet the required criteria. Please see the attached PDF that outlines the rules for an idea of the scale of the work. The solution needs to run on a Windows 7 machine. It could be a executable file or an Excel macro, or anything suitable that will run locally taking an input csv file and outputting a csv file. I will supply sample input and output files to those with suitable profiles.

Hello, Even without seeing the PDF file (there is no attachment), I can certainly do this as an Excel macro in max 1 day. Of course I will need the exact fields and data you want extracted from the input file, the rules for this extraction, as well as the Excel version you are using (to take into account possible differences in coding).
