Hi, I'm Matt and can help you quickly with your video (23 years of multimedia, web mastering and presentations experience). Your video can be cut into 4 parts (or these parts can be cut from any start to end) and saved as MP4 - without further video compression e.g. without losing quality. And yes, MP4 formatted videos can be converted to other formats like FLV (Flash Video) you wish yet with losing quality. Now if you use PowerPoint 2013 or later version it can play MP4 videos without any conversion. If you have at least version 2010 (or 2011 on Mac) then QuickTime MOV files can be played embedded in a slide and converting your MP4 video to MOV format would mean losing only minor quality. Anything else, converting to other formats will mean worse visual result for your video (and audience). So please provide more details about your video - where to "cut it" e.g. where should each part start and begin? This can be done fairly easy and you can then insert each part on its own slide and configure it there. So if you have PowerPoint 2013 I will return you 4 MP4 videos, for PowerPoint 2010 I will send you MOV videos. For any older version of PowerPoint you will receive WMV (Windows Media Video) formatted videos that is the Microsoft format and will play in practically any PowerPoint version.
