Freelance Designer Required 3 days per week from Reading Off

A truly exciting opportunity to join a dynamic live events and marketing communications agency to provide creative thinking and design. To be the lead designer and creative working on our blue-chip clients’ global projects. This new in-house design requirement has arisen as a result of expanding business. In addition to your day-to-day graphic design projects, you will be key to setting the direction for our network of international freelance designers. • We’re looking for an experienced, classically trained graphic designer that can work equally brilliantly between digital and print. • You must have an excellent sense of layout and typography. • With an eye for detail, you must be accurate and disciplined in your approach to work. • Whilst working within the clients’ corporate guidelines you must have a genuine creative ability and a desire to look for and implement new design thinking in your work. • The role will be for someone who is self-motivated and good at managing their own time and others’ expectations. • You will work as the only in-house designer initially, alongside project managers and other freelance designers. • You will be based in the office full time (Reading) and should live no more than 1 hour’s commute away. • Some of our timescales are tight, so you will need to be able to handle the pressure. • Candidates must have previous experience and expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign). • Employed initially on a 3-month contract, with a view to making the role permanent.
